Where can I find the tenant criteria for a property?
Some landlords will set up some criteria for their rental property. When you book a viewing, you will be asked to provide this information. This includes confirming whether you are:
- A student
- Employed
- A smoker
- A pet owner
At this stage, you may also have to confirm your:
- Combined household income
- Guarantor availability (if required)
- Declaration of CCJs or IVAs
This pre-screening helps landlords find tenants that suit their property and ensures tenants don’t waste their time applying for property’s that aren’t right for them.
