Win £250 Every Quarter — How the Tenant Rewards Draw Works

An article explaining how tenants can earn entries into the quarterly £250 prize draw by paying their rent on time via Pay By Bank, covering how to earn tickets, what each screen shows, FAQs, and the full terms and conditions.

What is the Tenant Rewards Draw?

The Tenant Rewards Draw is our way of saying thank you for paying your rent on time. Every time you pay your rent on or before your due date using Pay By Bank, you automatically earn a ticket into a quarterly prize draw worth £250 cash.

There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to claim — as long as you pay on time via Pay By Bank, your ticket is added automatically. The more qualifying payments you make in a quarter, the more tickets you earn, and the better your chances of winning.

The prize is £250 cash, paid within 5 working days. Tickets are earned for every on-time Pay By Bank payment made during the Quarter.

How to earn draw tickets

Earning a ticket is simple. There are just two conditions:

1 - Pay using Pay By Bank

When making your payment, choose the Pay By Bank option. This uses Open Banking to transfer funds instantly and securely from your bank or building society. No manual references, no waiting for the payment to clear.

2 - Pay on time

Your payment must be received by your due date. Because Pay By Bank clears instantly, there's no risk of your payment arriving late — unlike a manual bank transfer which can take up to 3 days.

3 - Your ticket is added automatically

Once a qualifying payment is confirmed, a draw ticket is added to your account immediately. You'll see your Ticket ID appear on the Payment Activity page, and you'll receive a payment confirmation by email.

4 - Wait for the draw

At the end of each quarter, a winner is drawn at random from all eligible tickets. The winner is notified by email and via an in-app message. The £250 prize is paid within 5 working days.

⚡ Important: only Pay By Bank payments qualify
Manual bank transfers do not earn draw tickets, even if they arrive on time. When making a payment, make sure you select Pay By Bank — not Manual bank transfer — to qualify for the draw.

Your Payments screen

The Payments tab on your Tenancy Overview has been updated to surface your draw status at a glance. In the top-right card, you'll now see:

  • The current quarter (e.g. Q1 2026)
  • Your total number of entries for this quarter
  • The draw date
  • A prompt to earn another entry if your payment is coming up

The PAYMENTS card (top right) shows your current quarter, number of entries, and the draw date. The green £250 draw badge and the prompt to earn another entry are visible at all times on this screen.

The orange prompt — "Pay on time again to add another entry to the £250 draw" — will appear when you already have at least one entry and a payment is coming up. This is a reminder that each additional on-time Pay By Bank payment earns you another ticket.

Making a payment

When you click Make a payment, you'll see the Secure Payment Options screen. This screen now highlights the Tenant Rewards Draw and reminds you of your current ticket count before you choose your payment method.

The payment method screenThe orange "Start earning tickets" banner at the top shows your current ticket count. Pay By Bank (highlighted as Recommended) earns a draw entry. Manual bank transfer does not qualify and takes up to 3 days to clear.

There are two payment methods available:

Pay By Bank (Recommended)

Transfers funds instantly and securely from your bank or building society. Instant confirmation, no manual reference needed, and earns a draw entry when paid on time.

Manual bank transfer

A standard bank transfer. This can take up to 3 days to clear, meaning there's a risk of it arriving after your due date. Manual transfers do not earn draw entries.

We strongly recommend Pay By Bank for all rent payments — it's faster, simpler, and the only way to qualify for the draw.

Tracking your tickets

The Payment Activity page gives you a full view of your draw entries for the current quarter. To access it, go to Payments → Payment Activity in your account.

Payment-activity

The Payment Activity page

At the top, a live countdown shows the time remaining until the draw. Below that, the Q1 Tickets section displays a slot for each month in the quarter — months with a qualifying payment show a Ticket ID in orange; months without one show "No Ticket". Your full payment history with ticket assignments is listed in the Your Payments & Tickets section.

Each month in the quarter is shown as a ticket slot. A slot will show your Ticket ID (e.g. TKTXUKJ4JS) once a qualifying payment has been received. Months where no qualifying payment was made will show No Ticket.

The small summary at the bottom of the section confirms your total ticket count: "You have X draw ticket(s) this quarter for the £250 draw."

Draw results and past winners

Once the draw has taken place, the result will appear in the Last Draw Result panel on the Payment Activity page. You can also view a full history of all past draws — including total prize money awarded — via the Draw Results page (accessible from Payment Activity → View all).

Once draws have taken place, this page will show all past results, your own winning history, and the total amount awarded across all draws. Currently showing an empty state as the first draw has not yet taken place.

If you win, you'll be notified by both email and an in-app message. The £250 prize is paid within 5 working days of the draw date. You do not need to claim — we'll contact you directly.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign up or register for the draw?

No. There's nothing to sign up for. As long as you pay on time via Pay By Bank, your ticket is added automatically.

Can I enter if I pay by bank transfer instead of Pay By Bank?

No. Only payments made via Pay By Bank (Open Banking) qualify for the draw. Manual bank transfers are not eligible, even if they arrive on time.

What counts as "on time"?

Your payment must be received by your due date. Because Pay By Bank clears instantly, a payment made on or before the due date will always qualify. We recommend not leaving it to the last minute, but there's no grace period needed when using Pay By Bank.

How many tickets can I earn per quarter?

One ticket per qualifying payment. For most tenants, that's up to one ticket per month — so a maximum of three tickets in a standard quarter. More tickets means better odds.

When is the Quarterly prize draw?

The quarterly draw takes place around 5 - 7 days after the end of the 3rd month in the Quarter. Qualifying payments are eligible for this draw.

How will I know if I've won?

Winners are notified by email and via an in-app message as soon as the draw has taken place. You don't need to check back — we'll reach out to you directly.

How is the prize paid?

The £250 prize is paid in cash by bank transfer within 5 working days of the draw date.

What if I miss a month — can I still win?

Yes. There's no minimum number of tickets required to be eligible. If you have at least one qualifying payment in the quarter, you're in the draw. Missing a month just means fewer entries and slightly lower odds.
