Why Your Property Isn’t Publishing

We’ve had a few landlords calling recently about properties not publishing. If they ask why their listing hasn’t gone live, here are key things to check (mainly for Ethan and Ryan):

  1. Updated Property Address
    • Go to the Burger Menu (top right) and select the 4th option down.
    • Ensure all required (*) fields are filled out correctly with no extra spaces before the first letter.
    • Click Submit, then Re-Publish the listing.
  2. Property Details (Edit Advert)
    • Double-check all fields to ensure they are correctly filled in.
    • The Virtual Tour section is often a common issue—verify that it’s properly set up.
  3. Description (Edit Advert)
    • If the landlord has written the description, they may have used special characters that are not supported.
    • If anything looks odd, remove or adjust it accordingly.
  4. Postcodes (New Builds)
    • Some new build properties may not have postcodes available on Rightmove/Zoopla yet.
    • If this is the case and the listing won’t go live, inform Ethan/Ryan so they can contact the platforms directly to resolve it.
