When are tenants given the deposit-prescribed information?

Tenants must be given their deposit-prescribed information before they move into the property. This is information relating to the tenancy deposit, including the deposit scheme, the deposit amount and the scheme's address.

What is deposit-prescribed information? 

If the landlord is on a Basic, Essential or Complete plan, the deposit prescribed information will be shown after the tenancy agreement. This must be signed along with the tenancy agreement and will be available to view in Documents.
