Should I let my property furnished or unfurnished?

Furnished and unfurnished properties both have their benefits. Properties with furniture are great for students and first-time renters, but can put off great tenants who want to bring their own furniture.
Unfurnished properties cater well to tenants seeking creative freedom in their living space, alleviating concerns about potential furniture damage.
If a landlord is unsure on what to go for, we recommend they go for “Any” or “Furnished/Unfurnished” as this opens your property up to way more tenants. Tenants on Rightmove will actually filter properties by their furnishing preference, so if you list it with “Any” - it will show up for more tenants.  If they want furniture, great - you can keep it in there. If they don’t, put the furniture in storage.
