How is the tenancy deposit returned?

All tenancy deposits taken through lettingaproperty.com are registered with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) for properties in England and Wales, or SafeDeposits Scotland. 

The deposit funds will be returned after the tenancy term ends. Landlords must confirm the deposit return via lettingaproperty.com, or contact their deposit scheme directly. At this point, they must declare any claim they want to make on the deposit for damages or costs incurred.

These funds will be directly returned to the tenant's bank account.
