The referencing can begin once a tenant’s application is accepted and the holding deposit has been paid. The landlord can start referencing from several places in the platform, including the Applications or Referencing menu.

The referencing process requires information about the property, tenants and tenancy. All this information will be pre-populated unless the landlord is purchasing referencing as a stand-alone product.

At the end of this process, the landlord must confirm all the details. The lead tenant will then receive an email inviting them to begin referencing with lettingaproperty.com’s trusted partner, RentProfile.
