How do I request a holding deposit?

For landlords on the Basic, Essential or Complete plan, a holding deposit is requested from the tenant during their application to rent. 

When you invite a tenant to apply to rent your property, they share some personal information and will be asked to pay a holding deposit of one week's rent at this point. This is paid securely via the platform, either through Open Banking or manual transfer. This payment is taken at the end of the application process.
