This policy sets out our approach to health and safety in line with UK law. ### **Who we are** lettingaproperty.com are a property lettings platform, helping landlords and tenants manage the rental process. Our registered address is: 7 Ardent Court William James Way Henley-in-Arden B95 5GF If you have any questions regarding this policy, you can contact us at the above address or here. ### **Our commitment** We comply with the **Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974** and take reasonable steps to: - provide a safe working environment - prevent accidents and injuries - promote the wellbeing of employees - identify and manage health and safety risks - comply with all relevant health and safety regulations We keep our approach under regular review to make sure it remains effective. ### **Responsibilities** #### **Management will:** - Assess and manage risks within the workplace - Ensure suitable policies and procedures are in place - Provide any necessary equipment or resources for safe working - Respond promptly to any health and safety concerns raised #### **Employees and contractors are expected to:** - Take reasonable care of their own health and safety - Follow the guidance set out in this policy - Report hazards, unsafe conditions or incidents - Use equipment responsibly and as instructed We work together to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. ### **Safe working environment** As an office-based organisation, our key areas of focus include: - Safe use of display screen equipment (DSE) - Clear walkways and well-maintained office space - Fire safety procedures at our premises - Appropriate workstation setup - Safe electrical equipment and regular checks - Lone working considerations where applicable We also support flexible and remote working, and employees working from home are encouraged to follow basic safety guidance in relation to workstation setup and environment. ### **Training and development** We provide relevant information and training to employees to support safe working practices. Training may include: - New starter health and safety guidance - Fire safety and emergency procedures - Display screen equipment (DSE) assessments - Awareness of key workplace risks We keep training requirements under review and update where necessary. ### **Reporting concerns** We encourage employees to share any concerns about health and safety. Concerns can be raised with a manager and will be handled promptly. If an incident occurs, it should be recorded and investigated to reduce the risk of it happening again. ### **Reviewing this policy** This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if required by changes in legislation or working practices. -
