What if my tenant’s rent payment is late?

Landlords should receive their rent every month. All rent payments are paid by the tenant via Open Banking or manual transfer through the lettingaproperty.com platform.
If a tenant’s payment is late, it will appear in the Payments section of the dashboard. Landlords can contact tenants via the Message Centre to discuss late payments and other issues.
Landlords on the Complete Plan will receive their full monthly rent amount within five days of their specified due date - regardless of whether the tenant pays late or doesn’t pay at all.
Landlords on the Essential Plan will receive their full monthly rent amount within six weeks of the due date.
If a tenant has not paid their rent by the due date, our support team will investigate the issue.
