We use [Stripe Identity](https://stripe.com/gb/identity) to confirm your identity when you use our services. This protects you and others involved in the tenancy. ### **What You’ll Need** To complete the verification, you’ll be asked for: - A valid photo ID: - Passport - Driving licence - National ID card - A live selfie - this confirms the ID belongs to you. The check takes a few minutes and is handled directly by Stripe through a secure link we send you. ### **How It Works** 1. You’ll access a secure link by email or in your account. 2. Follow the steps using your phone or computer: - Upload a clear photo of your ID. - Take a selfie as prompted.   3.   Stripe compares your selfie to the ID and confirms the match. ### **Tips for a Smooth Process** - Use a smartphone for the best camera quality. - Make sure your ID is valid, not damaged or expired. - Take the photos in good light and remove hats or glasses. - Keep your hand steady to avoid blurry shots. ### **What Happens to Your Data?** Stripe stores your verification data securely: You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [privacy@stripe.com](mailto:privacy@stripe.com).
