Tenants will receive their tenancy deposit back at the end of the tenancy. If there are no deductions, the tenant will receive their full deposit back. If there has been an issue during the tenancy, such as outstanding rent arrears or damage to the property, the landlord may make a deposit claim to recover these costs, meaning part or all of the tenancy deposit will not be refunded.
